Watch Adam Sandler's "Just Go With It" movie trailer - Examiner.com

Why is Adam Sandler a hot Google trend on December 28? There are some of the usual "is Adam Sandler is dead?" rumors on Twitter, but it's likely because the trailer for the Adam Sandler-Jennifer Aniston movie, Just Go With It, is out. The movie is due to be release in February 2011 and also stars Nicole Kidman.

The movie has Adam Sandler out looking to pick up girls at bars posing as a man from a broken marriage. Sandler's character feels thatthe help of a woman (Aniston) and her kids will help him land the woman of his dreams.

Jennifer Aniston pretends to be Adam Sandler's ex-wife, hoping the broken marriage appeal will help him find love. But all of this may backfire when the character played by Brooklyn Decker falls in love with him only to find a wedding ring in his pocket.

Watch the trailer to Adam Sandler's latest movie, Just Go With It, to the left of this article.

Are The New Jersey Nets Set To Become The 'Brooklyn New Yorkers'? - SB Nation

Mikhail Prokhorov arrived on America's with big dreams and plan to make the New Jersey Nets the hottest ticket in the NBA. It takes time, though. One awesome billboard across from the Knicks isn't going to change decades of history. But moving to Brooklyn, with a state-of-the-art arena and a new name? That might do the trick.

Unless, of course, you opt for a nickname like the "Brooklyn New Yorkers." And according to SB Nation's Nets Daily, it certainly looks like they're leaning in that direction:

On September 30, two lawyers associated with a large Philadelphia law firm sought trademark protection for the name, "Brooklyn New Yorkers", three logos featuring either a basketball or a basketball player and the Brooklyn Bridge as well as a slogan, "We Come to Play".

[...] Separately, the url, brooklynnewyorkers.com, has also been registered in recent months. The url was registered through a proxy domain register. The owner is not identified.

HOLD UP: Are these people serious?

    Star-divide

I mean, come on: any team from Brooklyn deserves a much better name. Thanks to rappers (like Nets owner Jay-Z) and literature and, more recently, a thriving scene of hipsters, Brooklyn's about as cool a hometown as a pro sports team can have. You have instant street cred there. There's something inherently cool about Brooklyn.

    And... The New Yorkers?

Not so much. Who wants to root for New Yorkers? Even New Yorkers don't really like New Yorkers. And it totally forfeits the edgy, underdog ethos afforded by Brooklyn. The "New Yorkers"? Is thisbasketball team supposed to be meek and neurotic, perpetually complaining about rent-hikes?

So, this is my official plea for Mikhail Prokhorov to come to his senses. It's not too late. Nothing's set in stone and the team still denies that they're associated with any of the patent applications. So let's just pretend this idea never happened, and come up with an idea that actually makes sense. And if they're really going to be this lazy about coming up with a cool name... This past summer, we suggested the Deckers.

Because Brooklyn Decker, ya know? So much better than a New Yorker.

Nadal snaps out of slump with style - ESPN (blog)

LONDON -- They're all coming out for the year-end championships.

After scruffy, brawny soccer icon Diego Maradona showed up at London's packed O2 arena, a trio of blondes -- Aussie pop sensation Kylie Minogue, actress January Jones and Brooklyn Decker -- surfaced for Monday's night session in Group A.

Decker, a model trying to make the transition to acting, probably couldn't have been more proud of hubby Andy Roddick, even in defeat. In a true heavyweight slugfest, returning world No. 1 Rafael Nadal overcame the Nebraska native and his 18 aces, 3-6, 7-6 (7-5), 6-4. The pulsating 2-hour, 34-minute encounter brought the tournament to life following three drab, straight-sets affairs.

"For me, it's a very important victory," Nadal, who was unable to win a set at the World Tour Finals in 2009, told the crowd after the match. "Last year [in London] was tough for me. The tournament was fantastic but I didn't have a chance to enjoy it because I played too bad."

Nadal hadn't competed for about five weeks thanks in part to shoulder tendonitis. Coming back against the cream of the crop, instead of a first-round pushover, isn't simple.

He sprayed forehands the first set and a half, highly unusual, and connected on only three of his opening 10 first serves. That was worrying, given the shoulder malaise. Also rare for Nadal, the lefty let frustration get to him, hitting his forehead when he missed a forehand sitter at 1-0 in the second.

"I started a little nervous, without rhythm," Nadal said.

However, let's give Roddick, who was disappointed to miss out last year because of a knee injury, ample credit. Rather than revert to his passive baseline game, he went with the formula that brought him success against Nadal in Miami in April and Dubai two years ago.

Roddick let rip from the back of the court, leaning into backhands, clubbing the forehand and taking cracks at Nadal's second serve. Typically not one of the game's grunters, Roddick turned into a Maria Sharapova at times, going for broke from the baseline.

He routinely served and volleyed -- on second serve. Up 3-1 in the first, Roddick did it on four straight points.

The turning point came midway in the second set. Having broken to lead 2-1, Roddick immediately dropped serve to give Rafa a second chance.

Commendably, Roddick held to love in his ensuing three service games. In the tiebreaker, with Roddick leading 3-2 and holding two serves, he lost the next four points.

It was just a matter of time, five games in this case, before Nadal got the upper hand in the third, breaking with a brilliantly angled backhand pass near the net. Nadal's vintage form was sporadic in this match, although the way he pummeled Roddick into submission at 3-2, deuce, and subsequently connected on a forehand down the line was breathtaking.

"At the end, I think I played much better," Nadal said.

We can only hope Tuesday afternoon, when 16-time Grand Slam champ Roger Federer tangles with home hope Andy Murray, is as good.

Talent Management: Brooklyn Decker Talks Plus-Size Models & Diet Tips - PRLog.Org (press release)

PRLog (Press Release) Nov 29, 2010 So we were happy to read about Brooklyn Decker"s down-to-earth view on changing shapes and silhouettes, her insecurities, and tips on how she maintains her figure.

Last month, the infamous Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model told Shine how she felt about plus-size models such as Crystal Renn becoming more accepted and widely used.

SI know Crystal personally and I love that she embraces herself fully, Decker said.

SIt's a lesson we should all learn from her. I also love that she doesn't need the emphasis to be on her size. Why can't she just be a great model? Why add the term plus size"? Why should a model even be categorised by size?

SThe models who stand the test of time are the ones who convey a certain mood and confidence, no matter their size. Crystal has that it" factor.

    INSECURITIES

Later in the interview, Decker was asked whether there was a point in her life when she felt insecure and whether she ever has days where she feels that way now.

SDefinitely, she answered. SI don"t think any woman hasn"t, especially in high school. When I first entered the business, I would fast on juice diets trying to be smaller. My dad sat down with me at one point and set me straight. Then it hit me: I"m a woman, I have curves. I started to love that I looked athletic.

SI think we all have days like that no matter what our shape or size is. It helps to know that a capable body is more beautiful than trying to conform to a certain size.

    MAINTAINING A GREAT FIGURE

So just how does trim Decker maintain that Sports Illustrated figure?

SWhether I"m modelling or getting ready for a new role I follow the everything in moderation" rule, she said.

SIf I want Skittlesone of my favourite indulgences for my sweet toothI"ll have it! If you try to fight the craving, inevitably you end up caving and having more than you would have in the first place.

Reel Deal Trailer Time: 'Just Go With It' - Massillon Independent

In SJust Go With It, Adam Sandler makes Jennifer Aniston his fake wife in order to win over a younger Brooklyn Decker (model and fiance of tennis star Andy Roddick).

Sound improbable? Well, this is Adam Sandler we"re talking about.

Sandler plays a plastic surgeon who has a sure-fire method for wooing women into one-night stands: He carries around a fake wedding ring and fibs about a marriage on the rocks.

But when he thinks he"s met Sthe one - someone worth Sdating at least - she wants details on the pending divorce from his (fake) wife. He convinces a friend (Aniston) to play the part, but during the staged encounter, the fake wife takes a call from her kids, which the girlfriend assumes, of course, are also his. And his fake marriage turns into a whole fake family.

The ring comes off Feb. 11.

NFL Picks Week 14: Hill gets call from bullpen - OCRegister

A tie normally isn't anything to brag about, which is why it often has been likened to kissing your sister.

But after getting shellacked the previous two weeks, the So-Called Expert isn't too proud to concede that escaping Week 13 without losing to maintain a four-game lead with four weeks remaining in the NFL regular season -- felt like kissing Sports Illustrated model Brooklyn Decker.

This week's guest prognosticator also knows how to appreciate small accomplishments.

Ken Hill of Aliso Viejo still likes to reminisce fondly about his career as a UC Irvine pitcher nearly 30 years ago.

His career on the mound consisted of one inning.

The last inning of the last game of the 1981 season.

"And it was an ugly inning," Hill said, laughing.

For the record, Hill was a walk-on at UCI, a non-scholarship player who didn't even think he would get into a game.

"I hadn't had a sniff that year justifiably so," he said. "I was terrible."

But after the Anteaters had a big inning to build a commanding lead against Cal State LA, first-year UCI coach Mike Gerakos told Hill to warm up in the bullpen.

    And he got the call.

"It was 25-5 in the ninth inning," Hill said, laughing again. "True to form, I came in and walked a couple of guys, hit a couple of guys, gave up a couple of runs and closed out a 25-7 victory."

    Move over, Mariano Rivera.

"I think I now hold the school record for fewest innings pitched in a career where injury was not part of the equation," Hill said. "My final career ERA is 18.00."

Suffice to say, Hill's career after baseball has been more noteworthy. He was sports information director at Golden West College for five years, SID at Fullerton College for five years, and briefly was PR director for the now-defunct Orange County Sports Association. (Remember the Freedom Bowl and Disneyland Pigskin Classic, everyone?) Now 51, he's a senior business consultant for Cox Business.

Like Hill, the So-Called Expert is a former college pitcher. The older we get, the better we were. Right, Ken?

Ready or not, it's time to commence pickin' and grinnin'. Click on PHOTOS for my picks and comments, noting the five games on which Hill and I disagree.

And I Quote - Hit The Ropes RAdio

When I awoke from my slumber this morning, I did so with a burning desire to write a new article. Not just any article, mind you. An article that would set a newMichael Cole personal record for most heated and argumentative comment section. With a Haiti Kid-sized amount of mental effort, I came up with a minimum of three ways to really get the IWC riled up. They are as follows:

    1. Insult Daniel Bryan. (I"m not going to do that, because Bryan happens to be my favorite thing about the WWE at the moment.)

    2. Say John Cena is a better promo than CM Punk. (I disagree with this, but am incredibly tempted to say it just to see what would happen. I"m guessing the number of new message board posts in a given minute would be higher than Jeff Hardy is at any given point.)

    3. Praise the current Michael Cole character and his work. (Ding ding ding! We have a winner!)

Michael Cole"s recent heel character and commentary has come under fire from a variety of sources, not just the trolls and flamers that almost exclusively comprise the IWC. On the Pro Wrestling Torch podcast, Torch creator and Editor Wade Keller and columnist James Mitchell were critical of Cole"s commentary and new character, saying it did nothing to get the wrestlers in the current match or segment over, and seemed to only benefit Cole. I have a tremendous amount of respect for Mr. Keller and the work he has done in the past and continues do. Heaven knows he"s probably forgotten more about wrestling than I"ve ever known, but I"m going to have to respectfully disagree here. Not necessarily with the argument that Cole"s commentary sometimes takes away focus from the match, not to mention doing little to get the competitors over, but with the general opinion that Cole"s recent heel transformation is a bad idea.

Michael Cole"s new heel persona seems to center around a few different things: his hatred of SInternet Darlings such as Daniel Bryan and Kaval, and his unabashed, almost uncomfortable admiration for current WWE Champion The Miz. Whoever thought of going that direction with Cole really should be commended, as it"s a genius move and accomplishes multiple things simultaneously. First, you take an announcer who, despite a legitimate journalistic background covering such events as the Waco siege on the Branch Davidian compound, the Oklahoma City Bombing, and multiple presidential campaigns, is a fairly bland and uninspiring character, and you make him interesting. Cole actually has somewhat of a personality now. The only notable previous departures from the mostly serious, vanilla Michael Cole character was when Cole threw up on Chris Jericho at the Smackdown! Anniversary party in 2009, and when he appeared to be Sviolated by Heidenreich on camera. Next, you make him heel by attacking the most beloved wrestlers of the IWC and so-called Ssmarks, an incredibly vocal group, thereby guaranteeing him a ton of heat every Monday. And for the icing on the Michael Cole cake, you make him a huge fan of the Miz, who had been getting a little more popular than a heel is supposed to be, thereby transferring Cole"s negative reaction inferno to the Miz. The surprisingly good Lawler-Miz TLC main event from last Monday"s Raw wouldn"t have been nearly as successful without heel Michael Cole. I certainly don"t mean to diminish everything the two match participants (Lawler in particular) did to make the match as entertaining as it was. But the idea of Cole screwing over his broadcast partner in what will likely be the only shot he"ll ever get at the WWE championship just because he couldn"t bear to see his man-crush lose gives new depth and intrigue to many current WWE storylines. The Cole-Lawler angle can easily be intertwined with just about any other current storyline and make that storyline more intricate and interesting as well.

The biggest benefit of the Michael Cole heel turn is also by far the most ironic. It certainly appears that Vince and the creative team may be working towards making Cole a manager or other non-announcer character, which could bring about his departure from the announcing booth and usher in the return of Good ol" JR. This is ironic, of course, because one of the IWC"s biggest points of rage against Michael Cole was the fact that he replaced the BBQ sauce salesman from Westville, Oklahoma as the play-by-play commentator of WWE"s flagship. I"ll be the first to admit that I would gratefully welcome Jim Ross back into the announcer"s chair. Ross is undoubtedly one of the best of all time at calling matches. In my mind, he is the voice of pro wrestling, and really has been ever since about 1996. When I play back all of the most memorable moments in WWF/E over the last 15 years, every last one of them has Jim Ross as its narrator. So of course I want Jim Ross back calling matches on Raw. As much as I"ve pumped up Michael Cole, going from Ross to Cole, simply in terms of their ability to call a match, was like going from dating Brooklyn Decker to dating the Brooklyn Brawler. So bringing back Ross makes the most sense from a business standpoint, and also makes everyone happy. Seems like an obvious win-win to me.

The biggest catalyst and most underrated aspect of the Cole heel turn is the fact that it"s working so well because of the efforts of Michael Cole himself. Newsflash, IWC.Cole is doing a fantastic job being a heel! It"s very clear to me that Cole is fully invested in making his character work, and in being good at his job. With very few exceptions, everything that Cole says comes off as his genuine opinion and doesn"t seem forced or otherwise contrived. Not only is he a sniveling, butt-kissing, pompous weasel, but he is a believable sniveling, butt-kissing, pompous weasel. Stop and think about how many wrestlers you can really say that about. Go ahead. Just take a few minutes and think. I"ll just wait here.

    (Waiting.)

There are a lot fewer than you"d thought there be, aren"t there? Yet this attribute of believability that is quite necessary for a successful wrestling character is clearly manifested in Cole"s work, yet is absent from a large number of very talented wrestlers. Michael Cole will never be mistaken for Gordon Solie, but one thing is for certain: Michael Cole does a great job at being a heel.

You can quote me on that.

Talent Management: Brooklyn Decker Talks Plus-Size Models & Diet Tips - Prfire (press release)

We at Talent Management are all too aware of how often, and quickly, the modelling industry shifts. With recent trends including androgyny, plus size, and even transgender, its hard to keep up.

So we were happy to read about Brooklyn Deckers down-to-earth view on changing shapes and silhouettes, her insecurities, and tips on how she maintains her figure.

Last month, the infamous Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model, told Shine how she felt about plus-size models such as Crystal Renn becoming more accepted and widely.

I know Crystal personally and I love that she embraces herself fully, Decker said.

It's a lesson we should all learn from her. I also love that she doesn't need the emphasis to be on her size. Why can't she just be a great model? Why add the term plus size? Why should a model even be categorised by size?

The models who stand the test of time are the ones who convey a certain mood and confidence, no matter their size. Crystal has that it factor.

    INSECURITIES

Later in the interview, Decker was asked whether there was a point in her life when she felt insecure and whether she ever has days where she feels that way now.

Definitely, she answered. I dont think any woman hasnt, especially in high school. When I first entered the business, I would fast on juice diets trying to be smaller. My dad sat down with me at one point and set me straight. Then it hit me: Im a woman, I have curves. I started to love that I looked athletic.

I think we all have days like that no matter what our shape or size is. It helps to know that a capable body is more beautiful than trying to conform to a certain size.

    MAINTAINING A GREAT FIGURE

So just how does trim Decker maintain that Sports Illustrated figure?

Whether Im modelling or getting ready for a new role I follow the everything in moderation rule, she said.

If I want Skittlesone of my favourite indulgences for my sweet toothIll have it! If you try to fight the craving, inevitably you end up caving and having more than you would have in the first place.

    Top Stories Today - PopSugar.com

We're looking back at the biggest headlines of 2010, and we'll be revealing more throughout the month of December. Here's one of the stories that created the most buzz over the past 12 months; don't miss the rest of our Best of 2010 coverage across the network!

Jennifer Aniston devoted herself to new film projects and good friends in 2010. She kicked off the year by showing off her chemistry with her The Bounty Hunter costar Gerard Butler as they presented at the Golden Globes. In February, Jennifer headed South to celebrate her 41st birthday with a bikini-filled getaway to Cabo, bringing along some girlfriends and a shirtless Gerard for some fun in the sun. The pair fueled romance rumors as they posed for a sexy spread in W Magazine's March issue and got close at premieres and photo calls from NYC to Berlin. Gerard continually denied being in a relationship with Jen, despite some interesting photos from their time in Paris.

Jennifer and Gerard went their separate ways over the Summer, and she was later romantically linked to SNL's Jason Sudeikis and old friend Christopher Gartin. She went on to launch her new perfume in London and had plenty of chances to show off her swimsuit-ready shape on the set of Just Go With It alongside Adam Sandler and Brooklyn Decker in Hawaii. She and Brooklyn even went head to head in this year's bikini bracket, with Jennifer eventually taking the top spot! We delivered the news in person when we sat down with her at The Switch junket in July, when we also chatted about her friend Courteney Cox. Jennifer told us she'd do "anything" for her former Friends costar, and in August, she put in a hilarious cameo on Courteney's show Cougar Town.

Jennifer took a break from shooting Wanderlust in NYC in November and kicked off her holiday season with a Thanksgiving trip to one of her favorite Mexican vacation spots with close friends like Chelsea Handler. It was a whirlwind year for Jennifer professionally and personally, and we'll see more of her in 2011 with Horrible Bosses arriving in theaters.
